MIXED HEAVY WASTE
What can be placed in this bin
- This skip bin is suitable for mixed heavy waste and can accommodate various materials with no weight limit and no extra weight charge. It can be used for waste from domestic or commercial demolition, construction, and renovation projects, including timber, plastic, gyprock, and minimal glass (excluding Fibro/fibre/villaboard). You can also dispose of timber logs smaller than 300mm in diameter and under 500mm long, as well as hardfill waste such as bricks, tiles, and dry concrete (pieces no larger than 600 x 600). The skip bin can also be used for household waste like clothes, toys, paper, and kitchenware, furniture and appliances like cupboards, lounges, and whitegoods, as well as garden waste like shrubs, grass clippings, twigs, bark, and pebbles/rocks. Tree trunks smaller than 300mm in diameter and under 500mm long (excluding palm trees) are also accepted, along with metal/steel waste.
What cannot be placed in this bin
- This mixed heavy waste skip bin has some restrictions on what cannot be placed in it. It cannot accommodate tree trunks larger than 300mm in diameter and over 500mm long, wet concrete, Fibro/fibre/Villaboard/Cement Sheeting, palm tree trunks or large tree roots, and timber logs larger than 300mm in diameter and over 500mm long. Hazardous materials like asbestos, insulation, fibro, wet paint, perishable or non-perishable foods, perishable materials, liquids, and empty chemical containers are also not allowed. In addition, soil, sand, dirt, or clay cannot be placed in this skip bin. Carpet, underlay, vinyl, or rubber removal can be arranged separately by contacting the service provider.
