What can be placed in this bin
- This mixed waste skip bin allows for a variety of materials to be disposed of, including waste from domestic or commercial demolition, construction, renovation such as timber, plastic, gyprock, and minimal glass, with the exception of Fibro/fibre/villaboard. The bin can also contain treated timber like retaining walls, decking, and floorboards, hardfill waste such as bricks, tiles, and dry concrete (no larger than 600 x 600), household waste such as clothes, toys, and kitchenware, furniture and appliances like cupboards, lounges, and whitegoods, garden waste like shrubs, grass clippings, twigs, bark, and pebbles/rocks, as well as metal/steel. However, the soil, dirt, clay, and sand should be less than 80% of the bin. Additionally, this bin does not accept tree trunks larger than 300mm in diameter and over 500mm long, palm tree trunks or large tree roots, hazardous materials like asbestos, insulation, wet paint, liquids, empty chemical containers, perishable or non-perishable foods, perishable materials that could decay, spoil, or putrefy, and carpet, underlay, vinyl or rubber.
What cannot be placed in this bin
- This mixed waste with soil skip bin accepts a variety of waste, including soil, timber, plastic, gyprock, minimal glass, treated timber, hardfill waste, household waste, furniture and appliances, garden waste, tree trunks smaller than 300mm in diameter, and metal/steel. However, there are restrictions on what cannot be placed in this skip bin, including tree trunks larger than 300mm in diameter and over 500mm long, wet concrete, palm tree trunks, Fibro/fibre/villaboard/Cement Sheeting, Timber Logs larger than 300mm in diameter and over 500mm long, hazardous materials such as asbestos, insulation, liquids, empty chemical containers, perishable or non-perishable foods, perishable materials likely to decay, spoil or putrefy, and wet paint tins.
