What can be placed in this bin
- Light Building Waste skip bin allows for the disposal of various materials without a weight limit or extra charge. It is suitable for light waste from domestic or commercial renovations, including kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, internal doors, and timber (excluding brick, soil, concrete, tiles, porcelain, gyprock, glass, and fibro/fibre/villaboard/Cement Sheeting). Additionally, it can accommodate timber logs smaller than 300mm in diameter and under 500mm long, household waste such as clothes, toys, and kitchenware, furniture and appliances like cupboards, lounges, and whitegoods, garden waste like shrubs, grass clippings, twigs, and bark, and tree trunks smaller than 300mm in diameter and under 500mm long (excluding Palm tree trunks).
What cannot be placed in this bin
- This light building material skip bin should not be used for hard heavy materials such as brick, soil, concrete, tiles, porcelain, gyprock, glass and fibro/fibre/villaboard/Cement Sheeting. Tree trunks that are larger than 300mm in diameter and over 500mm long, palm tree trunks, Fibro/fibre/villaboard, and timber logs larger than 300mm in diameter and over 500mm long should also not be placed in this skip bin. Hazardous materials such as asbestos, insulation, liquids, empty chemical containers, perishable or non-perishable foods, perishable materials (likely to decay, spoil, or putrefy), and wet paint tins are not allowed as well.
